Golf
Golf
Son Parc is a championship quality course, ideal for beginners and experienced
golfers alike. The course is both challenging and picturesque. It is located
just a few hundred metres from the award winning Son Parc beach on the north
coast of Menorca.

Around
the course are wooded hills and a protected wet zone with a rich variety of
bird life. In the distance are views of Monte Toro, Menorca 's highest point.

Watersports
Diving is very popular in Menorca, and there are several diving schools
at which you can sample the sport for the first time. For
the more experienced diver, there are some wonderful dive sites...

Sailing is a big pastime also, and there are many boat-hire
companies operating in the big resorts. Check with them before travelling with
regard to the sailing qualifications required. Windsurfer hire is also
possible at many resorts.
We can recommend skippered yacht hire with Joy2Sail

Northern
Menorca |
The
north of the island is home to Menorca's only golf course (see right) at
Son Parc, where you can walk from the green to the beach in a few
minutes. There is Port Addaya (pictured) also, a charming and peaceful
resort, and also the old fashioned seaside village of Na Macaret and
also the lively resort of Arenal d'en Castell
The
East is a real draw for tourists, thanks to the bustling streets of the
capital, Mahon, and the charm of Mahon's Port area with its many dozens
of restaurants and stylish shops. Es Castell is another tourist
favourite thanks to its waterside village attractions. There are several
beaches nearby and plenty to see and do
Seaside
resorts such as Binibeca, Punta Prima and S'Algar are what bring
visitors to the south-east of Menorca... Watersports are popular, and of
course the lovely beaches
Menorca's
most-visited and most developed area, very popular with British
holidaymakers and for very good reasons. The beaches at Son Bou and
Santo Tomas are the biggest and best on the island, while that at Cala
en Porter is idyllically pretty and well served
The
old capital, Ciutadella (pictured), is just one of the many attractions
of island west. There are lively and attractive resorts such as Cala en
Bosc and Cala Blanca, as well as many lovely beaches - some of them
quiet and well off the beaten track - and plenty of visitor attractions
